Dr. Djakiew interviewed by Reuters News about anti-cancer effects of NSAIDs

Dr. Djakiew was extensively cited in a recent publication on the epidemiology of NSAID use and reduced risk of bladder cancer. The article titled “Less bladder cancer in frequent painkiller users” discussed differences in the protective effects of aspirin and ibuprofen in reducing the risk of developing bladder cancer and the potential mechanisms by which long term consumption of some NSAIDs may exert an unintended anti-cancer benefit.
